Privacy notice
This notice explains how Abstack Solutions handles information when you visit our website or contact us about a project. We are based in Benoni, Gauteng, South Africa. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@abstacksolutions.co.za.
Information you provide
Our enquiry form asks for your name, email address, service interest and project description. If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we receive the information you choose to share in that conversation. Please avoid including passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information in a project brief.
We use enquiry information to understand your request, reply, prepare a proposal and, if you become a client, communicate about the agreed work. Enquiries may also form part of our business correspondence and project records.
How enquiries reach us
When direct form submission is available, the website sends your brief to our business inbox using Resend, an email delivery provider. When the form offers WhatsApp instead, it opens a prepared message for you to review and send through WhatsApp. Clicking an email or phone link opens the relevant application on your device.
Vercel hosts this website and processes requests to serve pages and protect the service. Technical information such as IP addresses, request details, browser information and error records may be processed by our hosting and communication providers. The contact endpoint uses a temporary hashed IP value to limit repeated submissions.
Analytics, visitor identification and cookies
The website can use Google Analytics 4 on our production domain to measure page visits, service interest, estimate interactions and enquiry actions. Our custom analytics events exclude form names, email addresses and project messages, and remove arbitrary query strings and fragments from page URLs. Google may still process device, browser and network information and use cookies under its own policies.
The website also loads Apollo's website visitor tracking service. Apollo may process IP addresses, browser or device information, cookies and visitor or company identification information under its own privacy notice. These services are separate from information you deliberately send in an enquiry.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings and use browser privacy or tracking controls. Blocking third-party tracking may affect measurement. Google also provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on. These controls do not prevent necessary hosting requests or information you choose to send by email or WhatsApp.

Retention and your requests
How long information is needed depends on the enquiry, any resulting project and applicable business record obligations. Copies may also be held by the email or messaging service used for the conversation. Contact us to ask what information we hold, why it is retained, or to request a correction or deletion; we will explain any information that needs to be kept.
For access, correction, deletion, an objection to processing, or a privacy concern, email contact@abstacksolutions.co.za with enough detail to identify your request. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing personal information. You can also raise a concern with South Africa's Information Regulator.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when the website, its providers or our enquiry process changes. The updated date above identifies the current version. Contact Abstack directly if you need clarification before sharing information.
