American Parts Specialists supplies new, used and imported Jeep, Chrysler and Dodge parts from Benoni. The website is a live full-stack catalogue and enquiry system built around one operational reality: a part can look correct and still be wrong for the vehicle.
The business problem
Customers do not always know the formal name or part number of the component they need. Model years, engines, generations and production changes also affect fitment, so a useful enquiry needs more than a generic contact form.
The platform had to help customers provide the right vehicle evidence, make the available parts range easier to navigate and give the APS team a structured way to receive and manage each request.
The customer experience
- Vehicle-first discovery for Jeep, Chrysler and Dodge, with dedicated model routes.
- Category browsing across engine, maintenance, cooling, suspension, brakes, electrical, body, interior, fuel and special-order parts.
- A guided enquiry flow that collects the make, model, year, engine, VIN, required part and fulfilment preference.
- Optional image attachments for a vehicle or part when written information is not enough.
- Clear collection details for the Benoni counter and nationwide-delivery information.
The operational system
The public experience is connected to a Supabase-backed product catalogue and enquiry workflow. Authorised staff can manage products, availability, images and incoming enquiries through a protected administration area. Enquiry data and attachments are validated server-side before they are stored and sent to the parts team with a reference number.
Search and local discovery
The site includes dedicated marque, model and category pages, route-level metadata, sitemap and robots configuration, and structured data for the Benoni auto-parts business. This gives search engines a clear description of the company, its location and the vehicle ranges it supports.
Delivery
The production build uses Next.js 16, React, TypeScript, Supabase and a custom responsive interface. It covers the public catalogue, enquiry submission, file handling, email notifications and the internal administration workflow in one system.
